David & Lindy Stansbury – Senior Pastors
We have a deep calling to lead, care for and protect our precious New Wine family. We are passionate about seeing lives redeemed, restored and renewed through Jesus’ grace and love, in the power of His Holy Spirit. Our highest goal is to be obedient to Jesus through the promptings of His Holy Spirit. It has been, and will always be, our greatest privilege to be considered servants of Jesus – both to our New Wine Family, and indeed the world around us.
David & Sarah Skevington – Associate Pastors
We grew up in Durban, then called to ministry in Cape Town and now find ourselves passionate about serving the Bay! We have the most beautiful two daughters, Anne-Hope and Calah-Joy. Our desire is to see all generations serving the body together and growing in the calling that God has planned for each one of us! We love Jesus and his intimate presence and so our ultimate goal is to continue to pursue the love of Jesus and love him back! We believe that Jesus is the answer and does still transform lives today and so we continue to make New Wine a space for people to encounter Him.
Elijah Japhta – Youth Pastor
I am married to Candice and have a beautiful daughter, Ava. I believe I have a calling from the Lord to serve Him in a full-time capacity. I am passionate about the next generation. Currently I serve on the staff at New Wine, as youth pastor, with responsibility of the children, teens and young adults. My deep desire is to see the next generation enabled and empowered to serve Jesus today, and to lead wherever they find themselves in life.
Michelle Marlin – Pastoral and Administrative assistant
I’m married to Calvin, and we have two sons. I am passionate about family and indeed about the care of our New Wine family – caring for their physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs. My desire is to see people whole in Jesus & to this end I will journey with people until they find wholeness in Him.
Liam Maree – Worship Pastor
I was appointed Worship Pastor at New Wine in January of 2023. I am passionate about serving Jesus and especially about leading His people into a place of intimacy with Him, by His Holy Spirit. My deep desire is to see the Lord’s people set free in the Spirit, through worship.
Jono Southern – Communications Co-ordinater
I am a third year varsity student majoring in Communications and English. Media and Communications play such a big role in our lives and our view is that we can use it to spread Jesus! My desire is to keep Jesus at the center of our media pages and to spread His love through our media, to reach people from all over the world.
