How can I serve at New Wine?
Worship ministry
We have a diverse and multi-talented worship team, which comprises vocalists and various instrumentalists, along with Audio Visual (AV) technicians. We are passionate about worship that is both vibrant and intimate, and are always keen for people to join our dynamic team.
Ministry to young people:
We are deeply passionate about young people, and our desire is to see every young person grow into Christlikeness, through the power of the Holy Spirit. Our ministry to young people caters for toddlers, children, teens and young adults. There are specific ministries covering each of these four groups. Ministering to young people is a high calling. We would love for you to be part of this dynamic team which ministers to our precious young people.
Hospitality Ministry:
We are absolutely committed to building ‘family’ at New Wine. We invest a lot of time and resources into events and programs that bring us together as the family of Jesus, here at New Wine. We rely deeply on those with a heart for people- people who are warm and hospitable. There are plenty of ways for you to serve in this key ministry.
Pastoral / Hospital visiting
Within the New Wine family, there are many people who are lonely, ill or with particular needs who need our love and support. We would love for you to join our team that ministers to these particular needs of our people.
Prayer Ministry
This vital part of our church life is covered in various ways. We have different prayer groups covering different aspects of our church’s life, and we also have a Emergency Prayer Chain which operates via a WhatsApp group. We are always looking for more people to commit to this key ministry in the church’s life.
Men’s and Women’s Ministry:
We have a strong and vibrant men’s ministry and women’s ministry. We are always looking for people with a variety of skills and life experience to be part of the core teams that drive these two ministries.
Missions (local and abroad)
We are deeply committed to the kingdom of our Lord Jesus being extended through the life, witness and ministry of New Wine. To this end, we have committed ourselves to a number of missions and mercy projects both local and abroad. Each one of our connect groups, has committed to owning a specific mission or mercy project. We have a deep need for more of our people to commit to being involved in these missions and projects.
